LTG_Icons-Min-Max_Protection-Plus-Program_55x55MIN / MAX AVERAGE

MIN / MAX AVERAGE

Ensures a minimum price, while also establishing a maximum price. Over a predetermined period, the contract is priced daily, never below or above the min/max price you select. Final pricing is determined by the simple average of each daily price.

Advantages:

  • Guarantees a minimum price (at a competitive fee)
  • Market appreciation increases your final

LTG_Icons-HTA_Protection-Plus-Program_55x55FUTURES ONLY / HEDGE TO ARRIVE HTA CONTRACTS

FUTURES ONLY / HEDGE TO ARRIVE (HTA) CONTRACTS

Allows you to lock in the futures portion of your cash contract at the price you select, while waiting to lock in the basis at a later date (prior to delivery). Ideal for situations when you believe futures market prices will fall and basis will improve.

Advantages:

  • Allows you to lock in futures hedges at appropriate levels that fit your operation

LTG_Icons-Averaging_Protection-Plus-Program_55x55AVERAGING CONTRACTS

AVERAGING CONTRACTS

A set number of bushels is priced daily using a simple average of the closing price over a predetermined period. You may lock in the price of remaining bushels at any time.

Advantages:

  • Offers greater flexibility
  • Allows you to take advantage of market rallies when applicable

LTG_Icons-Minimum-Price_Protection-Plus-Program_55x55MINIMUM PRICE CONTRACTS

MINIMUM PRICE CONTRACTS

Allows you to lock in a minimum price and take advantage of price increases during a predetermined pricing window. You decide which option call feature fits your operation.

Advantages:

  • Establishes a floor with the upside price opportunity

LTG_Icons-PEP_Protection-Plus-Program_55x55PREMIUM ENHANCER PROGRAM PEP

PREMIUM ENHANCER PROGRAM (PEP)

A premium is added to your cash contract in exchange for an offer to sell an additional, equal quantity of grain for a deferred period. The premium is based on the strike feature you establish. At expiration, if futures close below your strike feature, you have no obligation; however, if futures close above your strike feature, the parties establish a new cash contract using the strike feature as the hedge.

Advantages:

  • Increases your cash contract price
  • Potential to sell additional quantities at higher prices
  • Deferred offer basis can be set later
  • No commitment to deliver additional grain if futures close below target at expiration
