Huge Combat Patch 0.25.50.3

Greetings, Feudalists!

In collaboration with our modding team, we've implemented significant updates to the combat system. Before delving into the specifics, let's outline our primary objectives for these changes:

• Enhance the combat system to more strongly emphasize individual player skills, while still valuing teamwork.

• Rebalance armor to better showcase its strengths and weaknesses.

• Increase the diversity of weapons and combat tactics.

List of changes

Parry

• Extended stun duration for targets upon a successful parry from 0.1 to 1 second.

• Parrying now requires 15 stamina.

Counterattacks

• Broadened the counterattack window from 1.5 to 2 seconds.

• Shortened the post-block/parry animation from 1 second to 0.3 seconds.

Shields

• Lowered damage absorption for inactive shields (held or on the back) from 50% to 25%. No change during active blocking.

• Increased the weight of certain shields.

Bows

• Raised stamina costs:

   - Composite bow: from 20 to 30.

   - Longbow: from 40 to 50.

Lancers

• Substantially decreased horse protection against certain damage types (horses now perish 20-40% faster).

• Reduced the collision damage multiplier.

• Eliminated horse health restoration from the Refresh ability.

• Partially offset the reduced protection with increased health and improved regeneration (details below).

General

• Upped damage modifier for targets in non-combat stance from 1.5 to 1.75.

• Fleeing now requires 70 stamina (plus, we're planning to introduce weapon drops soon, as requested).
