What's New?
A new map
The centerpiece of Life is Feudal: Arden is its detailed, hand-crafted map—a new home for thousands of feudal lords and ladies. It’s smaller than the vast lands of Godenland, featuring intricate landscapes and numerous points of interest to keep your journey varied and dynamic. With separate PvP, PvE, and PvPvE zones, everyone will find their ideal playstyle, whether it's intense battles or peaceful exploration.
Improved crafting
Crafting has been streamlined to save you time while retaining the thrill of creating powerful, unique items. For those who revel in crafting, there are new recipes and fierce challenges awaiting you. But beware—local Knools won’t give up resources without a fight.
Simplified character progression
Gone are the days of maintaining multiple characters for different roles. In Arden, you can switch combat skills on your main character at any time by visiting a nearby Personal or Ally monument. Want to swap a two-handed sword for a bow or spear? It’s quick and easy—adapt as the situation demands!
Realistic trade
Instant item transfers are a thing of the past. Now, you’ll personally deliver goods to trading posts. This adds an exciting layer of strategy to trade routes: should you brave the wilds alone, enlist friends for protection, or—perhaps—become the bandit waiting to ambush traders? The choice is yours!
Revamped Judgement Hour
Judgement Hours are now region-specific, allowing guilds to plan military actions and alliances in designated areas. This introduces more strategic depth to large-scale battles and revitalizes guild activities with focused zones of conflict.
These are just some of the main changes! Additionally, you can expect balance updates, new buildings, and mechanics that bring a fresh twist to feudal life.
Please note: the game will undergo several testing stages prior to release, so some of the innovations mentioned above may not be immediately available. While certain features will be present during the CBT, others will roll out after the start of the OBT. Throughout testing, some features may be adjusted, temporarily removed, or reintroduced as we refine the game. We kindly ask for your understanding and patience during this process. Exciting updates lie ahead as the game continues to evolve with new content and mechanics, heavily influenced by your feedback.
When and how to play?
Before the full release of Life is Feudal: Arden, there will be three key stages of access:
Closed Beta Testing (CBT). The CBT offers a unique chance to explore new lands ahead of everyone else. Claim your spot early, scout locations for future settlements, and try out the updated mechanics. Access to the CBT can be obtained through:
Purchasing any Early Access Pack.
Receiving an invite from a friend.
Having purchased a Life is Feudal: MMO subscription (with real currency or LiF Coins) at least once.
Winning a promo code in one of our Discord giveaways.
The CBT will take place on the LTG platform, set to launch by the end of 2024. Exact dates and detailed instructions will be announced soon.
Important: Test server will feature increased rates, but the server will undergo a full wipe after the CBT concludes.
Open Beta Testing (OBT). The OBT marks the start of free access for everyone, including Steam users.
Early Access. This stage is perfect for those who want a head start in the competition for dominance. Early access allows you to begin playing two days before the open beta launch, giving you an advantage in the race for power. Access to this stage is exclusive to owners of Early Access Packs.
The Early Access stage will take place exclusively on the LTG platform. Steam users will be able to participate using Steam as their authorization method. Cross-authorization ensures that all progress will carry over seamlessly when the game launches on Steam.
Early Access Packs
The Early Access Packs are invaluable for anyone looking to maximize their experience from the start. Each pack includes in-game currency, a Premium subscription, exclusive skins for weapons and armor, only available in these packs, CBT access, invites for friends to join the CBT, and an early access to the game you can’t obtain anywhere else. With these sets, your journey on the new map will start seamlessly!

FAQ
What will happen to Godenland after the release of Arden?
Godenland isn't going anywhere! We plan to continue supporting it alongside Arden. Both versions of the game will receive updates and improvements to ensure an enjoyable experience for all players.
Will the new map be free? Can LIF Coins be used in it?
Yes, Life is Feudal: Arden will be free-to-play and open to everyone. You’ll also be able to use your LIF Coins for purchases in the in-game store.
Will I be able to transfer my character? Will character slots be shared between Godenland and Arden, or will Arden have additional slots?
No, character transfers from the original Life is Feudal: MMO to Arden will not be possible. Each account will have two character slots in total for Arden, which is fewer than the subscription version. However, thanks to the improved character progression system, this should be enough to meet all your needs. We’ll monitor player feedback closely and may adjust this decision if necessary.
I purchased a subscription in Life is Feudal: MMO. Will I get any bonuses in Arden?
Yes! Players who purchased a subscription (including those purchased with LIF Coins) in Life is Feudal: MMO will receive free access to the Closed Beta Test and get a chance to explore Arden before anyone else. Additionally, players who purchased a total of 6 months of subscription time will receive a Early True Believer's Pack.
Will resource spawns or the map change after testing? Will there be a wipe after the CBT?
At the moment, we don’t plan to change the location or quantity of resources, though adjustments may be made based on testing results. After the CBT, a complete wipe will occur: all characters will be deleted, and the map will reset to its original state. This ensures everyone starts on equal footing. However, Early Access Pack holders will have the advantage of starting a few days ahead of others.
Will testing of the new map be open to everyone?
Yes, once the OBT begins, the game will be open to all players. Early Access Pack holders and those with a Life is Feudal: MMO subscription will gain exclusive access to the CBT stage.
Is Arden a new map or a new game client?
It’s both! To play Life is Feudal: Arden, you’ll need to download a separate game client, which will be available in the LTG launcher or the Steam library after the OBT begins.
Will Arden have PvP and PvE zones?
Absolutely! The new map will feature separate PvP and PvE zones, as well as PvPvE areas. In PvPvE zones, you’ll compete with other players while hunting Knools—the local population—for rare resources. Stay alert, as these zones will challenge even the most seasoned adventurers!
Will claim mechanics in green zones work the same on Arden as on Godenland?
No, the mechanics for personal claims in green zones on Arden will differ from both the subscription-based Life is Feudal: MMO and the previous free version.
Will there be green zones on the new map?
Yes, green zones will be included. These areas will be separated and isolated from the red zones, where PvP battles are allowed, ensuring both peaceful and high-stakes gameplay options.
